Short: Netcom to add European news sources
Netscape Communications will next month add several European newspapers to its personalized news service, which automatically posts articles on topics flagged by users. The Mountain View, Calif.-based company said today that has signed up 16 newspapers for the free service, adding to the 30 news publications that Netscape already provides to users via its Inbox Direct service. The papers include Rheinische Post published in Germany, Liberation in France, the Finnish Aamulehti Group, De Telegraaf of Holland, La Vanguardia of Spain, Mondadori of Italy and The Daily Telegraph and The Mirror Group published in England.
