Short: ISD expects 3rd-quarter loss

Information Storage Devices announced it will report a loss for the third quarter ending September 30 of $3 million, or about 30 cents per share, on revenues of $7.5 million. This compares with net income of $1.7 million, or 19 cents per share, on revenue of $15.5 million for the third quarter of 1995. The company said the loss is due to decreases in demand for its ChipCorder single-chip integrated circuit products for voice recording and playback.
