Short: Informix ships workgroup database
Informix Software said it is shipping its Online Workgroup Server database on Microsoft's Windows NT and on Unix platforms, priced at $295 per user. The relational database server will also be offered by Netscape Communications in a 60-day trial version as part of its AppFoundry development tool package. The database is already bundled with Netscape's LiveWire Pro development tool.
