Short: DSNC, SofTech deal done

Data Systems Network (DSNC) of Farmington Hills, Michigan, and SofTech announced the sale of SofTech's Network Systems Group is complete. In exchange for the ongoing business, certain assets and liabilities, DSNC paid $900,000 in cash and 540,000 shares of stock. The network group had a gross revenue of $30 million for the 1996 fiscal year. DSNC provides network integration services. SofTech announced John J. McDonough as CEO, replacing John I. Jellinek, who has been named vice chairman. A.J.R. Oosthuizen has been named president and COO.
