Short: CallWare integrated with GroupWise

CallWare Technologies today said its tool for bundling email, voice mail, and faxes will ship with Novell's GroupWise 5 corporate intranet application. CallWare allows users to "see and control" electronic messages and transcribed voice mail deposited in the GroupWise signature universal mailbox. Voice mail can also be played back using .WAV players included in many Internet browsers. The product, which allows multimedia PCs to work in concert with user telephone systems, will allow geographically distant voice mail systems to connect and communicate through the Internet to forward messages, cutting down on long distance telephone calls. The Salt Lack City, Utah-based company said the application integrates GroupWise with more than 300 telephone systems and will save users time and money.
