Sharp announced two new TV models that can display digital photographs stored on common media formats. The 15-inch and 20-inch versions of the SharpVision Aquos will come with a PCMCIA slot with an adapter that will accept most popular formats of removable memory cards.
People can view photos and run slide shows by inserting a memory card from their digital cameras. The televisions sell for $1,700 and $2,700, respectively.
