Server company CacheFlow names CTO

CacheFlow, a maker of special-purpose servers for speeding up delivery of information across the Internet, has named John Scharber its new chief technology officer, the company said Tuesday. Scharber most recently was CTO and co-founder of a company called Entera that CacheFlow acquired in October 2000. He replaces Rangaswamy Vasudevan, who left CacheFlow "to pursue other opportunities," the company said.
