We saw most of our "Justice League" heroes suit up when the trailer debuted at this summer's San Diego Comic-Con. But one figure was missing -- until now.

The trailer showed off Ben Affleck as Batman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Jason Momoa as Aquaman, Ezra Miller as Flash and Ray Fisher as Cyborg. But Amber Heard as Mera -- Queen of Atlantis and Aquaman's wife -- was nowhere to be seen.

Now, thanks to director Zack Synder, we finally got a first look at Mera from the upcoming film.

"Saw this hydrokinetic vision come out of the sea and snapped a photo with my Leica," Snyder tweeted yesterday.

Mera's stunning costume recalls the character's original comic book outfit. And her regal headpiece that looks like it could also double as a weapon if need be.

While Heard as Mera is only expected to play a supporting role in "Justice League", she will have a much bigger part in the upcoming "Aquaman" movie, directed by James Wan.

And if you can't wait for the film's release to see your favourite DC heroes do their thing, check out the fun behind-the-scenes video Snyder tweeted last week.
