Attention, ostentatious Samsung fans: your flagship is soon to set sail, and it's fittingly covered in Swarovski crystals.

The "crystal collection" edition of the Samsung Galaxy S5 could be available as soon as May, according to the below promotional video from the huge company's Korean mobile team released Thursday.

Perhaps Samsung has remained such a steadfast believer in lightweight plastic shells for its devices when competitors seem to be gravitating toward more metal because it's that much easier to affix the bling. Of course, HTC produced its flagship One in a limited-edition gold chassis for people with income needing to be disposed of, but it doesn't quite have that same sparkle that really shouts: "Hey, I can think of nothing else practical to spend my money on!"

The Swarovski crystal Galaxy S5 is the latest in a long line of blinged-out devices going at least as far back as the early iPhone days. In fact this isn't the first Samsung-Swarovski collaboration -- earlier this year crystal cases for the Galaxy Note 3 debuted at Mercedes-Benz fashion week.
