The Securities and Exchange Commission is conducting a survey to study how investors use electronic media, including the Internet. The survey will question investor knowledge and experience, expectations of brokerages, trading frequencies, and how investors analyze risk. "As technology continues to transform the securities markets, I'm asking investors to share their experience and expectations with us," acting SEC Chairman Laura Unger said in a news release.
The survey can be found on the SEC Web site as well as on other government, investor education, and financial services sites. The study will be conducted through July 1.
