Scratch-card game hits the Web

On February 1, a Liechtenstein-based company will launch Alpine Cash, which it claims is the first state-sanctioned Internet lottery game.

InterLotto, a Liechtenstein-based company, will launch a new Net scratch-card lottery game on February 1. Alpine Cash will present players with the same familiar format as an ordinary scratch ticket, officials said.

Prizes will range from 2 to 10,000 Swiss francs. Players can pay for their entries using Visa, MasterCard, Diner's Club, and Eurocard.
