Charles Schwab customers are able to search the big online and discount brokerage's Web site for financial information and customer support using iPhrase Technology's search software under a deal implemented Tuesday. Using iPhrase's One Step software, Schwab customers can search for information by using natural phrases and commands rather than by using keywords. Ask Jeeves has licensed similar technology to Ford Motor Company and to online brokerages such as E*Trade.
