Scalix raises $13.2 million

Scalix announced on Wednesday that it raised $13.2 million in a first round of funding, led by New Enterprise Associates. Mayfield, which incubated the company, also contributed to the round. Both companies will receive a seat on the company's board of directors. Menlo Park, Calif.-based Scalix develops corporate e-mail technology for Linux systems. The company was founded last June.
