Software maker SAP has released an updated version of its small-business management applications with features for coordinating factory work.

The package, called SAP Business One, also includes updates to customer information programs and new tools for creating business reports. SAP, based in Waldorf, Germany, sells the package through a global network of computer services companies. It already has more than 4,000 Business One customers and charges $3,750 per user for the software, the company said.
