SAP launches integration software

The software enables SAP's enterprise resource planning product to communicate directly with the IP-based messaging platform connecting financial institutions worldwide.

SAP said it launched SAP Integration Package, a software that enables SAP ERP (enterprise resource planning) to communicate directly with SWIFTNet, the IP-based messaging platform connecting financial institutions worldwide.

The package solves complex electronic payment problems faced by many multinational corporations, the company said in a statement. The package for SWIFT (Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunication) will generally be available at the end of 2007, the company said in a statement.
