We also hit on PayPal's push for more workplace flexibility and Elon Musk's vision for Mars.
The years-long Apple-Samsung patent battle just keeps on going.
With Samsung filing its opening briefs in the tech titans' case before the US Supreme Court, we weigh whether the justices will finally help bring some resolution to this patent dispute. The Supreme Court in March agreed to review the case, marking the first time it has looked at a design patent issue since the 1800s.
For this episode, we also discuss PayPal's new return-to-work program, called Recharge, as well as Elon Musk's plans to have people reach Mars by 2025.
The 3:59 gives you bite-size news and analysis about the top stories of the day, brought to you by CNET Executive Editor Roger Cheng, Senior Writer Ben Fox Rubin and Producer Bryan VanGelder.
