Samsung signs deal with trading exchange

Samsung signed a deal Thursday with electronic trading exchange RedtagBiz, under which Samsung will offer consumer products from its 2,000 factories in Korea to RedtagBiz members. This agreement gives retailers access to thousands of products at factory pricing, through RedtagBiz and its Web site, Samsung said in a statement. The agreement allows RedtagBiz to be a regular supplier of Samsung consumer products to retailers in the U.S. In conjunction with the agreement, RedtagBiz has opened a wholly owned subsidiary in Korea, called RedtagKorea. Financial details of the alliance were not disclosed.
