While touch-screen phones with a slide-out QWERTY keyboard are nothing new, every once in awhile we see one that really knocks it out of the park. The Samsung Rogue is one such example, and it ranks up there with the Samsung Impression and the LG EnV Touch.

It has a fantastic design, with a stunning 3.1-inch AMOLED touch-screen display; a roomy, four-row QWERTY keyboard that's easy to use; a 3.5-mm headset jack; a microSD card slot that can take up to 16GB cards; and a 3-megapixel camera with an LED flash.

We were especially impressed with the full HTML browser with Flash Lite support so we could watch streaming video from YouTube and from our very own CNETTV. Other great features include threaded messaging, EV-DO Rev. A, stereo Bluetooth, and access to V Cast broadband services like V Cast video and V Cast Music. It is overall an excellent multimedia messaging phone from Verizon Wireless. The Rogue is available now for $99.99 with a two-year contract and a $100 mail-in rebate.
