Samsung launches another Tizen phone for some reason

Remember Tizen? No? That's OK. You'd be forgiven if you don't recall Samsung 's home-grown operating system.
Samsung remembers, though, and on Friday unveiled the Samsung Z4. The budget phone will launch in select markets this month, starting with India.
Tizen was Samsung's attempt to create products using its own mobile software. But the lack of app support and the popularity of Android meant it had little chance of competing. The company uses Tizen for its Gear S smartwatches.
The Z4 features a 4.5-inch WGA display, 1 gigabyte of memory, a quad-core 1.5-gigahertz processor and 5-megapixel cameras on both the front and the back.
The phone will also be shown off at the company's Tizen Developer Conference in San Francisco next week.
