The company has a marketing deal with Marvel, and will be releasing an Iron Man edition of the Galaxy S6 Edge, but could more futuristic devices be coming too?

In " Avengers: Age of Ultron," currently out in theaters, Tony Stark is again surrounded by all kinds of nifty, futuristic gadgets, but Samsung would like us to believe that they're from the near future.

The massive device maker has a marketing deal with Marvel and presented some of the transparent-screen phones, tablets and other Hollywood-ized bits of tech at CES 2015 in January, but now the company is hinting that the gadgets from the movie could be more than just props.

According to a report in the Korea Herald, Samsung executives attended a screening of the new Marvel flick in Korea and later talked up some of the transparent screen tech seen in the film, but wouldn't confirm that the company was working on bringing such a product to market.

Samsung has been teasing us with next-generation transparent and bendable displays for years now, but the curved-edge Galaxy Note Edge and Galaxy S6 Edge are the company's closest to anything so futuristic that regular people can actually buy.

According to the Korea Herald, Samsung Mobile exec Young-Hee Lee did confirm that a red "Iron Man" edition of the Galaxy S6 Edge will be available in coming weeks, however, though where it would be available wasn't stated.

While we wait for our futuristic transparent devices (they'll want to make sure they work perfectly before Nick Fury gets his hands on them), Samsung has put together a "Battle for the Avengers' Tower" VR experience. It's designed for the Galaxy S6 and Gear VR headset, but you can also get a taste of how it works on most Android phones with the video below.
