A ceramic shell is a new one on us. Some watches are made of ceramics, because they are light and scratchproof. While ceramics are less likely to scratch than metal or plastic, they're more likely to break if dropped. They're also more expensive and harder to recycle, although they do at least let radio waves through, unlike metal cases.

The S3 is set to feature Ice Cream Sandwich from day one. It's also likely to be a 4G phone, but in the absence of a 4G network in this country as yet fingers crossed for next generation data connections such HSPA+.
