RosettaNet unveils new tools, services

The e-business standards consortium RosettaNet on Tuesday launched a new program that provides tools and services for companies to accelerate their implementation of the RosettaNet business standard. The RosettaNet Ready Program allows companies to purchase software and services to measure the readiness of their systems and business partners' computers to support the RosettaNet e-business standard. RosettaNet is developing technology standards based on XML that bridge the gap between software built to handle e-commerce transactions over the Web and software that handles internal business management functions offline. The new RosettaNet tools will be available in the third quarter. The services will be available in the fourth quarter.
