The results of the Robo-One tournament in Japan this past weekend; plus, researchers give a robotic third arm to a drummer for testing.

The very first Robo-One tournament took place back in 2002, with its weird, whimsical and wonderful robots competing against each other, but we'd argue it's even better today with all the advances in robotics. Check out the finalists on today's show; we'll be deep-diving into the world of fighting robots on Thursday's long show.

We're also discussing the Georgia Institute of Technology's testing of a robotic third arm, shoulder-mounted on a drummer. It's no John Bonham, but it is a fun step toward giving professionals like doctors an extra arm during delicate procedures.
