Firms expand content deal to bring Internet radio service to

RealNetworks' Rhapsody RadioPlus will soon be featured on Comcast broadband. The firms on Tuesday enlarged the scope of an existing deal to offer the Internet radio service on Comcast broadband portal,

The service, which covers 90 Internet radio stations and 30,000 artists, will be launched in the first half of 2005, the firms said in a statement. Since November 2003, Comcast has been marketing RealNetwork?s $9.95 a month Rhapsody jukebox service among its 6.5 million high-speed Internet customers. RealNetworks had more than 625,000 paying users by the third quarter of 2004.
