RealNetworks has released its RealOne streaming media player for the Pocket PC. The company also extended its distribution deal with Compaq so that the computer maker will include RealOne in all of its iPAQ Pocket PC devices. The software is designed to stream audio and video files over wireless data connections to devices running Microsoft's WinCE operating system. A plug-in due later this month will enable people to move audio and video files from the PC RealOne Player to the iPAQ. RealNetworks is exhibiting its wares at the CTIA (Cellular Telecommunications & Internet Association) trade show in Orlando, Fla., Monday through Wednesday.
