RealAudio Mac server unveiled

Progressive Networks today announced that a beta version of RealAudio Server 1.0 for the Macintosh is ready for testing.

SAN FRANCISCO--Progressive Networks announced here at Macworld that a version of RealAudio Server 1.0 for Macintosh is available for testing from the RealAudio home page.

A beta version of the company's RealAudio Personal Server for Macintosh, which is aimed at individual users, is also available for testing. The $99 Personal Server is targeted at Net users who want to create RealAudio broadcasts. The package requires a Macintosh 68040 or Power Mac running Mac OS 7.5.

RealAudio Server 1.0 for Macintosh, which is aimed at business users, starts at $995.
