RadioMail and Ardis drop wireless prices

Wireless access to online services and other PC data will become cheaper in the wake of price decreases from RadioMail and Ardis.

Business users and consumers subscribing to RadioMail's wireless messaging service from Ardis will pay lower monthly fees.

Subscribers will now pay $10 per month and 5 cents per 1,000 characters of message traffic. Under the new pricing structure, users pay as little as $29.95 per month for the messaging service, said officials.

Current RadioMail subscribers can swap to the new rate plan without any penalty, officials said.
