R.E.M. Wins Ticketmaster's Online Poll
Ticketmaster Online has announced the winners of its first annual Live Event Poll. The categories were best live event, most popular country singer, favored family event, and most popular play.
R.E.M.'s "Monster" tour was voted most popular live event of 1995 for Ticketmaster Online's first annual "Live Event Poll." Phish and Jimmy Buffett came in second and third, respectively.
Reba McEntire won for most popular country singer, David Copperfield won the favored family event category, and Cats took the award for the most popular play.
Ticketmaster Online includes news on live events, concert talk, and an online magazine called Live!
