At the PS3 pre-launch party hosted by Dick Smith Electronics on March 14, a bunch of eager PlayStation fans took the chance to play on the shiny new console, mingle with a celeb or two, and partake of the free popcorn being offered up by a Lara Croft lookalike.

CNET.com.au descended on a few gamers and prised their hands from the Sixaxis controller for long enough to pose some questions on how the latest consoles compare, which PS3 features they fancy, and what games they're most looking forward to playing.
