Some people are complaining they can't play PS Mini titles on their PS Vita. Also, the Facebook app has been pulled.

Its Japanese launch was beset with problems, with buyers complaining of cracked screens and faulty devices. Now the PS Vita has launched in the UK, it has problems of its own. This time, though, the niggles seem to be software-based.

People have popped up on the PlayStation Forum complaining they can't play PlayStation Mini games on their shiny new Vitas, SlashGear reports. Meanwhile, the Vita's Facebook app has been yanked due to issues, though these are all Facebook's fault, apparently.

PlayStation Minis are downloadable casual games that launched in 2009. Members of PlayStation Plus typically receive one PlayStation Mini a month. But those trying to do so on their Vitas are seeing this error code: C1-2858-3.

The issue isn't that the Minis aren't compatible with the Vita -- download one to your PSP, transfer it to your Vita and it should play fine. It's just that if the game is free through PlayStation Plus, you'll be greeted with an error when you try to open it.

Sony has acknowledge the fault though, and is working on a fix. A spokesperson told Edge: "We are aware of the issue, and will resolve it as quickly as possible."

But there are problems further afield. Facebook has pulled its app for Vita from the PSN Store, Engadget reports. People trying to log in were seeing an error code that forced them to close the application. But it's down to a fault on Facebook's side of things, according to Sony. Community team leader PadPoet said the error is a "Facebook specific issue (on their side)", and that they're working together towards a fix.
