Ah, fall. Time for crispness in the air, leaves on the ground, and pies in the oven. With the biggest food holiday of the year right around the corner, it's time to start thinking about all those fall flavors. When it comes to Thanksgiving, (or any other meal, really) dinner isn't really complete until a pumpkin pie or apple pie makes an appearance.

This set of four Fall Forest Pie Cutters allow for pie-makers to add perfectly appropriate autumnal shapes to their creations. The small (about 1.75 inches wide and 1.75 inches tall) cutters feature three leaf shapes (bay, maple, oak) along with an acorn. Complete with a spring-loaded handle, simply press down on the edges to cut out the shape, stamp the design in, and then release the dough with another push of the button. With the convenient design, there is no need to handle the dough directly, so there is no fear of overworking chilled dough.

The little shapes that are created with these cutters can be used to add a decorative touch to a pie or to create the topping altogether. Whether you choose to just use a few as decoration, or if you layer the shapes across the entire top, it will be easy to achieve professional-looking results that are fun to eat any time.
