Pioneer Electronics has cut prices on recordable and rewritable DVDs by 20 percent. The audio equipment giant is now selling a DVD-R for $9.95 and a DVD-RW for $19.95. Both types of discs store up to 4.7GB of data. A company representative said the price cut is partly related to increased sales of the discs.
