Samsung Soul Samsung

Samsung gave us a lot of look at the GSMA World Congress and we've rolled them up here in a Samsung slide show. The company unveiled a long list of handsets, with the star attraction being the new Samsung Soul. As the company's "flagship product" for 2008, the Soul offers a sleek slider design (not that Samsung gives us much else these days) and a unique navigation touchpad with icons that change depending on the feature you're using. We gave it a test run, and it seemed to work pretty well, though a thorough shakedown is still to come. Multimedia and style were recurring themes in Samsung's booths, and the new company's new SGH-F400, SGH-F490 and SGH-F480 exhibit these traits solidly. Expect high-resolution cameras, Bluetooth, and media players. The latter two models also offer large touch screens. The SGH-G810 and SGH-P960 were also noteworthy. The SGH-G810 offers a 5-megapixel shooter, and the SGH-P960 offers a full Web browser and a document viewer. Check out our slide show to see the phones in all their glory.
