The Geode GX 533, which runs at 400MHz, is the chip that drives AMD's Personal Internet Communicator. AMD plans to expand its Geode line to target a broader swath of the CE market.

AMD's Geode SC1200 chip is mounted on a circuit board to be used for software development purposes. Given the huge amount of software available for x86 processors, AMD says it believes manufacturers will switch from chips based on RISC or MIPS architectures to x86.
