Pee-wee Herman redubs 'Avengers: Age of Ultron' trailer

Paul Reubens lends his signature Pee-wee Herman voice to make the new Avengers trailer even better. Plus, a new Pee-wee Herman movie is on the way, with Judd Apatow attached.

Just when you thought the new trailer for Marvel's " Avengers: Age of Ultron" couldn't get any better, Pee-wee Herman steps in to prove that even the Hulk sounds better when smashing things like he's trapped in a playhouse.

Paul Reubens, who is best known to his fans as Pee-wee Herman, visited "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" Wednesday night to promote the new release of the Blu-ray box set of his award-winning Saturday morning kids show "Pee-wee's Playhouse" that ran on CBS from 1986-1991. (Disclosure: CBS is the parent company of CNET.)

The hit show spawned two movies, "Pee-wee's Big Adventure" in 1985 and "Big Top Pee-wee" in 1988. This seems all the more relevant since Reubens is reprising his role in a brand new Pee-wee Herman movie on the way, produced by none other than comedy filmmaker Judd Apatow, which Reubens also announced on "The Tonight Show."

But the gem of the show was really when Reubens redubbed the popular "Avengers: Age of Ultron" trailer using Pee-wee's signature squeaky voice and high-pitched screams. Thor yells like someone stole his bike. The Hulk sounds downright giddy. And the theme song gets its own "la la la's" thanks to a happy Pee-wee.
