The Reston, Virginia-based firm today released its monthly list of the top 20 shopping Web sites, noting that Amazon topped the list with a reach of 14.7 percent. PC Data defines "reach" as the percent of households with Internet access that visited a site during the month. All sites that made the top 20 list had more than 1.3 million visitors during June.

Overall, there were few shuffles in the top ten. CDNow continued to grow with its reach increasing to 7.5 percent from 3.9 percent in April. Internet music shopping and download site MP3.com also made its debut on the top 10 list with a reach of 4.5 percent.

Two companies rejoining the list are eToys and Buy.com, which were bumped off in March. The sites replaced Egghead.com and Freeride.com.
