PayPal to build new site

Online billing company PayPal plans to build a 115,200 square-foot customer service and operations building in La Vista, Neb.

The building, which is just outside of Omaha, Neb., will hold up to 1,200 employees and will consolidate 540 workers from two Omaha sites. PayPal expects construction to be completed in early 2003. The company did not say how much it is spending on the new facility. PayPal was acquired by online auctioneer eBay last month.
