PayPal releases Dreamweaver feature

Web designers using Macromedia's Dreamweaver can now download an extension to the program that will enable them to add a PayPal payment button to Web sites, PayPal announced Wednesday. The extension, designed by WebAssist.com, allows designers to add e-commerce features such as a shopping cart and the ability to accept credit cards to Web sites with the click of a button. WebAssist released the extension in January, and it has been one of the most popular downloads for Dreamweaver since then, PayPal said. Under an agreement between PayPal and Macromedia, Macromedia will promote the extension on its Web site and in newsletters to Dreamweaver users.
