It's no secret that Palm, Microsoft, and Vodafone had for the European market, and sure enough, the Palm Treo 750v was unveiled today at a London press conference. Available to customers in Austria, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom by the end of the year, the GSM 750v runs Windows Mobile 5, has push e-mail capabilities right out of the box, and takes advantage of Vodafone's 3G/UMTS network. But before you close out of this blog in a jealous fit, here's some interesting news. We actually just got a hands-on look at the 750v in our meeting with the Microsoft Window Mobile team, and they said that the smart phone would definitely be coming to U.S. shores, although they wouldn't give us a specific time frame. It's slightly smaller than the current line of Treos and is void of an external antenna, which I strangely missed for some reason. We're hoping to capture some video of it in the wild tonight, so check back for a first look.
