Palm taps Broadcom for Bluetooth

Handheld maker Palm said Wednesday that it would use chips from Broadcom to add Bluetooth short-range radio technology to future generations of its devices. Bluetooth allows gadgets to share information sans wires with other nearby devices, such as cell phones and digital cameras.
