Palm hands out deals to graduates

Handheld maker Palm began selling its so-called Grad Pack on Monday for high school and college graduates. The company is bundling a Palm m125 with a USB synchronization cable and a Secure Digital expansion card titled "Shortcuts to Success," which features productivity tools, games and Charles Webb's novel "The Graduate" in eBook format. The package retails for $199 and is available in the United States at Best Buy stores nationwide and at Staples stores in the Northeast. The promotion marks the first time Palm has customized content and included it in a bundle with a handheld targeted at a specific audience. Additionally, customers who purchase a Palm m125 or m130 by June 30 can receive the "Shortcuts to Success" card free by mailing in a coupon.
