The past few weeks have seen the release of Battlefield 1, Titanfall 2 and Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare -- but Blizzard is making sure no one forgets about Overwatch, one of 2016's best games.

The company is making Overwatch free to play next weekend. PC, PS4 and Xbox One gamers will be able to download the game, free of charge, between November 18 and 21.

The game, played already by over 15 million people, will be playable in its entirety. All 13 maps and 22 characters will be playable by those demoing it. Progress made during this weekend will be preserved, should prospective owners choose to take the plunge.

It's not the first time Blizzard has made the game free to play, offering a free weekend for PS4 and Xbox One owners back in September. Overwatch was a hit among players and critics alike upon its release in May, so do try to play it if you haven't already.
