Opera 9 hits the streets

Opera 9 hits the streets

Tom Merritt Former CNET executive editor
The brand-spanking-new version of the is out and has some handy new features. It includes integrated BitTorrent, widgets, and even a superamazing double-back button. However, when I logged in to our CNET blogging tool, I was prevented from using Opera 9, as our tool thought it was an obsolete app. I was admonished not to continue trying to log in with an unsupported browser. And that's the trouble with Opera: It runs great and has excellent, innovative features, but you'll still hit roadblocks. Apple users are all too familiar with that problem. Still, I recommend you give Opera 9 a whirl or at least read the full review.
