Open source for the hotel industry

Open source has clearly gone into the mainstream of the applications industry, what with a new hotel-dedicated open source project.

I'm still not sure how credible the project is, but I was interested to see Hotelier Open Source, an "Open Source hotel platform that provides a free alternative for anyone who operates a hotel or travel related business." Who said that open source only works for mainstream markets with gazillions of developers?

Oh, wait. That was me.

Again, I can't vouch for the quality of this software, not having used it. But the idea is interesting. Anyone out there that can comment on it? And why isn't it on Sourceforge or some other code repository? There are certainly other open-source hotel systems hosted on Sourceforge....
