Open Market and ANS Communications team up

Short Take: Open Market, an e-commerce software provider, announced that it has signed up ANS Communications, a wholly owned subsidiary of America Online, as a Preferred Hosting Partner. Under the terms of the agreement, ANS Web Hosting Services will run Open Market's Transact software, allowing Transact customers to maintain an Internet storefront without hosting an e-commerce infrastructure.
