The Vidalia Chop Wizard Chop Wizard

I don't mind chopping most vegetables, but chopping onions can be an ordeal. The amount of time it takes to chop or dice an onion is more than enough to get my eyes watering. With the Vidalia Chop Wizard, cutting up any vegetable--onions included--is a much faster process. The Vidalia Chop Wizard pushes your ingredients through a sharp disc, either chopping or dicing your food. The gadget has a container attached below the disc that catches chopped vegetables, fruit, and cheese. The container doubles as a measuring cup and is marked to show measurements from 1/2 cup to 2 cups.

Using the Vidalia Chop Wizard provides a much faster cleanup process than a cutting board and a knife. It comes with a lid cleaning tool--if you're using it to cut cheese or something equally likely to get caught, this little tool will save you from having to stick your fingers anywhere near the blades. You can pop off the catch container, and the whole gadget is dishwasher-safe. The Vidalia Chop Wizard can catch much of the juice or crumbs that can otherwise be a product of chopping up a few ingredients. The Vidalia Chop Wizard is $19.99.
