The White House's Facebook account now has a profile picture in which the building itself is all the colors of the spectrum.
Hundreds of thousands have, at the time of writing, expressed their liking of this image, as celebrations have already begun.
Moreover, President Barack Obama's Twitter account offered this within minutes of the Supreme Court verdict: "Today is a big step in our march toward equality. Gay and lesbian couples now have the right to marry, just like anyone else. #LoveWins."
If only love really did win all the time. What a lovely place our earth would be.
Of course the president himself is a relatively recent convert to the gay marriage cause, having been outpaced even by his own vice president, Joe Biden.
Still, Obama scolded a heckler during a White House press conference this week, saying the disruption was disrespectful because "You're in my house!" And now we can all be clear it's a house that accepts everybody.
I wonder, though, what social-media items the White House had prepared for the opposite result.
A "You Ain't My Supremes" hashtag, perhaps.
