The Doctor Who pop-up shop in Newtown, Sydney, has closed its blue doors — but Aussie Whovians can now get their merch fix online.

The BBC has launched an official online store for the popular sci-fi television show down under.

This means not having to worry about importation restrictions on some items, but the range doesn't seem to be quite as diverse as what you can get in the UK shop, and many of the lovely limited-edition products from the pop-up shop didn't make it in.

Nevertheless, there are some pretty awesome things to snap up in there. Aussies can now buy Doctor Who DVDs, clothing, merchandise and toys, with new and exclusive products made available on the site as they come up.

"The Doctor Who pop-up shop reinforced just how passionate our fans are, and we're thrilled to be able to offer them the convenience of a dedicated Doctor Who e-commerce site, which will allow us to connect directly with our consumers," said Elie Mansour, BBC Worldwide ANZ's manager of Licensed Consumer Products.

We're going to start with a Tom Baker bathrobe and a TARDIS teapot. Head on over to the front page to check it our for yourself.
