Office 2004: MathType update; Entourage printing issues

MathType Update In our Office 2004 report we covered an incompatibility between MathType 5.0 and Office 2004, and noted that a compatible version was on the way. This version, MathType 5.1, was recently released and is "fully compatible with Office 2004."

Entourage issues printing non-mail items Reader Chuck Hogye reports an issue confirmed by Microsoft, but not affecting all users:

If [I] attempt to print from the address book, calendar, tasks, or notes (anything else), I get an error box: 'The action could not be completed. An unknown error (-30876) has occurred.' I have this confirmed at Microsoft technical support and have a case number assigned. They state this is a known bug and are working on a fix. Here is a summary from their response:"

ACTION: Attempted to print items other than e-mail messages in Microsoft Entourage 2004.
RESULT: Unable to do so. We received a -30876 error, "Action could not be completed".
CAUSE: This is a known issue with Microsoft Entourage 2004.
RESOLUTION: (none)

We note that this issue doesn't affect all users as we at MacFixIt are able to print non-mail items in Entourage 2004 without problems.
