Odds and Ends: Panther licensing; Knowledge Base Updates

Panther licensing We've received a good deal of feedback on yesterday's story about Panther licensing. To clarify: Panther's license is the same as the license for Jaguar. A single Panther license legally allows you to install Panther on a single computer. A Panther "family" license legally allows you to install Panther on up to five computers in the same family household. If you have two computers (a G5 and a PowerBook, for example), if you want to remain "legit," you need to purchase two single licenses or a single family license.
